When registering a plant, we collect photos and optionally your device's location.

We collect usage data (actions performed, plants cared for) to power the app's gamification features.

Plant photos may be sent to Google's Gemini Vision API for species identification. Google's privacy policy applies to this processing.

Location data is used exclusively to display plants on the collaborative map and validate care actions performed near plants.

Your username and contributions are publicly visible on the app's collaborative map.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use Google Gemini Vision for plant identification and Sentry for error monitoring. Both are subject to their own privacy policies.

Your data is retained while your account is active.

You may request account deletion and data erasure at any time by emailing contact@plantinghere.com.
